Mamba Max

In case anyone is wondering, the Mamba max fits perfectly, esc fits in nice and tight in behind the motor, need to figure out a solid but removable way to sit it in there so that you can pull it out to make adjustments on the computer. moved my RX to the battery hold down bar and everything stays nice and neat.

Sorry, New to all this stuff. Can you give me the model number to the motor and ESC I need for this. Is there any other modifications I need to do or add to make this work?

Mamba Max pro ESC and Castle Creations 6900kv ordered and on the way. Also everything HPI offers as options as well. Anybody predict any problems?

you may need to change pinion on motor, just check and see how hot motor gets, and you will also be able totell by the way it performs, slow of the line, or no torque, if this happens its gearing issue and Im sure others on the form can steer you in the right direction.

I ordered a 14 and 15 size pinion off the HPI site in effort to make up for the motor. I am in hopes this could resolve any issues. I am deployed in Afghanistan so anything that happens I have about a month wait on parts. This is why I am asking before the installation to see if anything else is needed.
